1998 Best feature film in Bengali. The film is about the schism between a filmstar's daughter, Rohini and her father Sudhamoy, who is unwilling but forced to depend on his daughter's earnings. The narrative revolves around the sudden illness of Rohini's mother who has to be hospitalized. No one knows what she is suffering from. The physical illness sets off a chain of events in Rohini's life that includes her relationship with her father.
